I have finally made the decision to quit my regular day job and start doing affiliate marketing full time.  I have been doing this for almost a year now with a laptop on my kitchen table.  My wife and I talked this over and decided that I would be best off looking for offices to rent London area.  I will be able to concentrate my efforts much better if I am out of the house during the day.  I should be able to find something small and affordable that will me my needs.  I am really excited about the decision to work for myself.

I’m finally getting back into the habit of taking a daily walk. I’ve been so lax over the past couple years, and I hate to admit it but I’ve gained 25 pounds. Anyway, So far so good this week. I’ve been getting out for at least a mile or two every day.

It’s been really beautiful weather and I’ve had a chance to listen to some podcasts while I’ve been out, so that’s been nice too.

I just hope it eventually does me some good. Haven’t noticed a difference in the weight yet but I do think I’ve been sleeping a little better at least.

I used to invest in the real estate market, but since I took some pretty big losses last year I am out of it entirely.  I sold all my properties and used the money to buy gold.  Fortunately I bought most of it when the price dropped pretty low.  I keep an eye of the ABC gold price so I can sell when it goes a little higher.   I will then hold onto the money I made so I can buy again when the price plunges.  I know some people buy gold and hold onto it for the duration, but I like to buy low and sell high.

I have the cold doctors stethoscope when I go for check ups. Well it looks like the old stethoscope will be hetting an upgrade. The stethoscope is one of those doctor’s tools that has remained unchanged forever, but now the 3M Littman Electronic Stethoscope will do more for doctors and help them to better diagnose various health conditions. Some features include noise cancellation and sound augmenting says R4i SDHC, so they can hear better. The device also has the ability to record heart and lung sounds which is pretty darn cool, and should come in very handy for doctors in the future as well.

I am very surprised that no one came up with this solution sooner. The ability to pay for your phone bill, right on your phone! Nokia just introduced us to their new payment system, which is simply called Nokia Money. The new payment system is set to offer banking to the poor and those in developing countries who don’t have the kind of banking choices that we have says apple iPhone 3G Accessories. It’s based on Obopay’s existing cellphone payment system in North America and Europe and will use current cell phone features to pay for items in stores. Nice idea!

I come from a family of five, which consists of my mum, my dad, me and my two older twin sisters. My dad is always joking that he is severely outnumbered with four women in the house and that we cost him an absolutely fortune in clothes and shoes! Which is probably true but there are ways that we do save him money which he found out when the twins passed their driving tests within a week of each other this year. He had been looking a bit pale for a couple of weeks beforehand, which I believe was due to mentally working out the cost of getting those two on the road if they did pass their test. But he perked up considerably when he found out that female drivers can get cheaper motor insurance. At least this is one area in which it has saved him money by having girls, although the twins have cheekily asked for some new shoes out of the money he saved!
