I have suffered from insomnia nearly my entire life. It started when I was a child and has lasted well into my twenties. I am nearly thirty years old now and I’ve learned how to better control my sleepless nights. The method I use is as follows: When I am ready to sleep, I consciously take the deepest, slowest breaths that I can. I only focus on seeing how slowly and deeply I can breathe. Before I know it, I am waking up the next morning, feeling refreshed. The method may seem simple, but try it once and you’ll see that it works.
