My husband and I are thrilled that our son wants to do something great with his life. He has thought long and hard about this, and he understands the risks. He has always wanted to do this and I am happy for him. The firefighter training is going to be challenging, I am sure, but he is willing to take this on. Our son believes that this is what he was put on this Earth to do and we are in full support of his decision. This is an incredible time in his life. I am excited for him and I cannot wait to see him in uniform.
