Looking for Better Results

I am wondering if anyone can recommend a good website for doing searches for people. The recent people searches I have tried to do haven’t really helped me to find any of the people I was looking for. I am hoping there is a better website that I could use in order to actually get the results that I am looking for. I really want to find an old friend of mine, but none of the listings that are showing up are for the right person. I don’t want to have to spend any money since I am not sure that type of search would get any better results.
